OK, so last weekend I got to go to a super sweet concert with my friend Mike; we saw OneRepublic at the Palladium in Hollywood. It was a great night, I mean we even had rock star parking - and in Hollywood, that doesn't always happen.
It was an amazing show... minus the three bands we had to sit through. I mean they were good, but THREE BANDS?!? There was the Hush Sound, Spill Canvas, and Augustana (the lead singer was totally on something). But for the most part, they were all pretty good.
We had pretty good spots, although some punks tried to stand in front of us. So I may have done some unnecessary screaming... they slowly moved to the side, which gave us (and our new friends behind us) a better view.

So OneRepublic came one - amazing. I liked their CD, but they were even better live. such energy - and the talent, man! the cello was fantastic, so was the guitarist. And, of course, Ryan Tedder was amazing!!!
Two week before that, I went to the House of Blues West Hollywood and saw Matt Nathanson. I went with two friends - Shana and Heidi.
The first time I ever met Shana and Heidi was at a Lifehouse concert at the Wiltern, where Matt Nathanson open. Became great friends and HUGE fans of Matt. Here is a pic of me, Heidi and Shana...
So when he was playing in LA again, we had to go. Plus, I had never been to the House of Blues - any House o Blues. It was a great show. And we had a lot of fun sneakying in cameras... although Matt doesn't stay still long enough to take a good pic.
I love concerts, great bands, and new music... sooo if you have any suggestions on new bands I need to check out. Let me know. PS - I'm soooooo excited for the Killers new album. Who isn't right?!?
